Dossier Management
Factview supports three types of dossiers:
-
Standard Dossier
-
Consolidation Dossier
-
Publication Dossier
Standard Dossier
A Standard Dossier contains the data of a single company, organization, or entity. The defining factor is whether the entity has its own financial administration.
All data related to that entity is stored in this dossier, including:
-
Financial data imported from the accounting system
-
Budgets
-
Non-financial data (if applicable)
The dossier name is chosen by the user and can be changed at any time.
Consolidation Dossier
A Consolidation Dossier combines the data from multiple Standard Dossiers.
This allows financial data from different entities to be consolidated into a single report. Consolidation Dossiers also include additional features for performing consolidation processes.
Publication Dossier
A Publication Dossier, also referred to as a Department Dossier, is used to make a selected set of data from a Standard Dossier or Consolidation Dossier available to specific users.
For example, you can publish:
-
Data for specific Cost Centers
-
A specific report
-
A selection of Datasets
This ensures that users only have access to the information relevant to them.
